Overview Starting a game but need somewhere to start? Have developer art block and trying to find an idea? Or just want to have a quick and fun time waster? Then try out this little application. Just tap roll and you'll get yourself an entire genre made up of three parts for your game idea.
Background Finishing Break Baller with four weeks left was not an ideal place to be contrary to the free time it seems to give me. Idling wasn't a plan for college but with only four weeks I didn't have enough to make another game. I had little to do during class that I resorted to showing off an old visual studio project to pass time. Then a thought crept up, why not make this into a unity project? And so Game Jambler began!
Takeaway First time designing the project for Mobile proved difficult to execute as the code had problems saving when it was ported. But in the end I was able to create a PC version and an Android version within the four weeks. I thought it would require different code for each version. Turns out one set would have work out fine.
You can even add new setting to each category, customizing how your random genre generates.
